Due to the Trump Administration’s continued attack on Harvard and the broader scientific enterprise, we are currently unable to hire new postdocs.

June, 2025. We call on the Administration to: (1) reinstate funding of terminated and cancelled grants at Harvard, it’s affiliates, and elsewhere; (2) reinstate future funding opportunities for Harvard scientists; and (3) stop the attack on international students who are here both to pursue their dreams and contribute to our vibrant academic environment. We call on Congress to summarily reject the current budget propoposal that would slash NIH and NSF funding by nearly 40 and 60% respectively, and cap indirect costs at 15%. These drastic cuts would cause immediate and irreparable harm to the American scientific enterprise and destroy the engine that fuels the biomedical, pharmaceutical, and technological industries.

Undergrads and postbacs

We welcome Harvard and MIT undergrads who are looking to advance their research experience, normally starting during the summer. We are also accepting undergrads and postbacs through the HMS SysBio Summer Internship program and through SHURP. With exception of organized summer internship programs, we expect interns to commit to at least 6 months of research in the lab. Please contact us and include a 1-page personal statement if you are interested. No previous research experience is required.
